About us

EKOPAK  was established in 1993 and since then it has been producing cardboard drums – industrial packaging of wide application. The headquarters of the company and its production are located in the area of Novi Zagreb, Odra.

MARKET APPLICATIONS

FIBER DRUMS USAGE

Fiber drums can be used for packing virtually any types of dry goods, also semi-liqids, and in some cases even full liquid products (packed per system „bagi n drum“)

They are also used for packin of special products such as engineering components, machinery items, steel wire, textile reels, ect.

Fibre drums have replaced steel and plastic drums for many applications.

Main market uses for fibre drums are :

Chemical industry- Plastic, Chlorides, Catalysts, Resins ect.

  • Pharmaceutical Industry – Vitamins, drugs, most powder materials.
  • Food Industry – Preservites, Milk/Egg Powders, Cooking materials
  • Dye Industry – Dye Powders, Pigments, Additives.
  • Agricultural industry- Insecticides, Pesticides etc.
  • Adhesives – powders, Semi-Liqids
  • Military Industry – Explosives

It is estimated that world-wide usage of fibre drums for packing of above products is approximately 100 milion drums/year.

  • Height of drums depends of volume
  • Drums body is made of kraftleiner paper
  • Metal parts are electro galvanized
  • Drams lids and bottoms made of MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard)
  • Fibre drums capacity of 35, 60, 80 and 120 lit. posses UN certificate for transport dangerous goods
